Lots of nick-nacks but nothing really filling. Coke and Capri-Sun to drink, fig newtons, nutri-grain bar, Rice Krispie treat, pudding, an apple, a pack of gum, and two bland, dry, tasteless sandwiches. Good thing they threw in mustard....
Dr (Capt) Dan Walker, the flight surgeon at Yokota sent in the new pics for rating reconsideration and informed me that Yoko's flight kitchen had a recent inspection with NO infractions. Both old and new lunches appear to have similar sandwich (two smaller versus one bigger one), similar condiments, a pack of gum, two drinks (one Coke, one fruit), and a Rice Krispy bar. They switched from pudding to yogurt, replaced the fresh fruit with bagged chips, and replaced the Fig Newtons with a muffin. I've gotta ask if they attained the clean kitchen by getting rid of the fresh fruit and replaced it with the bagged grease-chips to keep the bugs out? I see little difference in the lunches except with the minor switcheroos in a couple of areas. Nonetheless, great job on the inspection, folks!!
