I got to Spang expecting the flight kitchen to be closed or expecting to hear we couldn't order a meal because we didn't have 3 hours til takeoff. Boy was *I* wrong. The flight kitchen is inside the base ops/pax terminal complex. As soon as I walked in, there was a clear and easy-to-understand menu posted to the wall. Even though I was there on a weekend, someone was happily manning the shop. I ordered what I wanted (with a choice of almost any soda), paid the gentleman, and within 30 seconds he appeared out of the cooler with my box in-hand. I've got no complaints at all about the meal. It was filling, tasty, fresh, and had enough junk food thrown in to keep me busy until 40-west. I'd never seen a meal offered with soda, water, AND milk at the same time, so even the health nuts should find this enjoyable. Outstanding job, guys... No defect noted!
