Coast Guard Air Station
Miami

Rating: 5.6

.

According to Kenyan Young, this is one of the BETTER meals at CGAS Miami. For some reason, the Coast Guard thinks it's ok to circumvent congressional mandate and make up their own prices. Does this look like $3.50 worth of food to you?  How about the next one??

.

Lookee what we got here... Believe it or not, this orange (the brownish round thing on the right side) was served in a box lunch in MIAMI FLORIDA!  Remember Florida?  The orange juice state?  I'm sure you've seen the commercials... The ham sandwich actually has a single slice of shaped & pressed pig. Don't eat it all at once...  Here's what Kenyan has to say about it...
-----------
Enclosed is the photo for the box lunches here at Coast Guard Air Station
Miami, you are welcome to paraphrase or quote it is up to you.  Enclosed are
two photos of two different box lunches we received during a flight.  The
lunch was date stamped.  The galley here conducts surveys on a ongoing basis
so the data for the rating is done by station personnel.
Rating? 5.6
The lunch we received had the following items enclosed as pictured, the
bread was not fresh in fact it was a little stale and hard.  The sandwich
came wrapped in plastic wrap. The orange as you can see in the picture (yes
that is suppose to be an orange) must not be a Florida orange, despite the
fact we are in Miami. Off setting the box lunch quality was the Rice Krispy
treat and the Milano cookies.
